Islamic Age Calculator
Apni date of birth daalein — Hijri umar aur Islamic birthday turant.
Islamic Age Calculator kya karta hai
This free islamic age calculator takes your English (Gregorian) date of birth and converts it into your islamic date of birth — then instantly shows your umar hijri mein alongside your normal age in solar years.
You just enter the day you were born. The tool does the maths and gives you three things at once: your Hijri date of birth, your hijri age in Islamic years, and your age in Gregorian years for easy comparison.
It also tells you when your next Islamic birthday falls. No sign-up, no cost, and it works the same way for a baby born last month or an elder born fifty years ago. If you only want to convert a single date without the age part, use our Hijri Date Converter.
Hijri umar Gregorian se thodi zyada kyun hoti hai
Your Hijri age comes out a little more than your Gregorian age, and that is completely normal — it happens because the Islamic year is shorter than the solar year.
The Hijri (Islamic) calendar follows the moon. One Hijri year is about 354 days, roughly 11 days shorter than the 365-day solar year you are used to. Those missing days add up. Every year, the Islamic date drifts a little earlier against the English calendar.
Over a lifetime this gap grows. As a rough rule, you gain about 3 extra Hijri years for every 100 solar years. So someone who is 33 in Gregorian years is already around 34 in Hijri years. This is why hijri age is not a mistake — it is simply a shorter year counted more times. You can see the same monthly drift in our Ramadan calendar and daily namaz time table.
