Chand Ki Tarikh Today Hyderabad
Hyderabad checks its own sky. It is one of the few Indian cities with its own moon-sighting committee, so the Islamic date today in Hyderabad rests on the city's own announcement — the live card above carries it. The namaz times and moonrise below are calculated for Hyderabad's coordinates, not a generic all-India setting.

Hyderabad Mein Chand Ka Elaan
Hyderabad ka chand ka elaan comes from the city's Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, which works under the Sadar Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Deccan. On the 29th evening of each Islamic month the ulama gather, take shahadat (witness testimony) from people who saw the hilal, and release the decision. For decades that announcement has been tied to the Moazzam Jahi Market area, from where it spreads through masjid loudspeakers across the old city, and these days through WhatsApp within minutes.
This Deccan tradition gives Hyderabad chand news a local weight most cities don't have. When Ramadan is confirmed, the change is visible the same night: Mecca Masjid fills for taraweeh, and the lanes around Charminar shift to a sehri-to-iftar schedule, with haleem pots firing up within days. The date announced here almost always matches the rest of India, but Hyderabadis still wait for their own committee's word before anything is official.
